Fall Creek Elementary offers several extra-curricular programs and activities to enhance the student's educational experience.

These clubs are offered at various times throughout the school year either through FCE or through outside organizations.

The staff at Fall Creek offers several extra-curricular clubs and activities to enhance the students' educational experience. In order for this to be an enjoyable time for all involved, the following guidelines have been established:

Students are expected to show respect for the club sponsor and follow school rules during all club meetings. Students who are disruptive may not be allowed to attend future meetings. Please be considerate of the club sponsor by prompting picking up your child. If you are going to arrive late, make arrangements for your child to be picked up by another person. A note should be sent with your child on the day of each club meeting. Students who do not have written permission to stay after school will be sent home on the bus. Check the FCE weekly update for club information.

Science Bowl:  4th grade students meet before school for a state-wide academic competition held in January.  Students meet regularly after school to learn about science and perform experiments with their teammates as they prepare to compete against other 4th grade teams in our state. Our FCE team placed 3rd in the State of Indiana 2020 competition.  Sponsors:  to be determined.

Spell Bowl:   4th graders start practicing in September for a competition in November. Students try out and the top 12 spellers meet before school to practice for the statewide competition.
Sponsors: Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Howard.

Math Bowl:  4th grade students try out to be a member of the FCE Math Bowl team.  20 students then meet two to three afternoons a week during the months of March and early April to prepare for a challenging math competition against teams from HSE and around the state.  Sponsor:  Mr. Marquardt

FIT FISH:  FCE puts together a team in training for the Geist 5k Fitness Challenge in May every year.  This team of "Fit Fish" consists of any interested third or fourth graders.  They practice after school prior to the race and run together as a group.  Registered family members may also run with the group.

4th Grade Track:  Interested students practice all spring for a District-wide Track Meet in May.  Coach:  Mr. Marquardt.

3rd and 4th Grade Choir:  FCE Choir is open to any 3rd or 4th grade student who loves to sing and perform! The choir rehearses two days a week after school October-March.  Past performance opportunities have included Veterans Day, Holiday Program, Carols and Caring (making a craft and singing at a local retirement center), National Anthem at a Varsity Boys Basketball Game, and the Spring Program.
